What is mindset coaching?

Mindset coaching utilizes the power of the imagination to help teens achieve goals and develop the mindset necessary for confidence and success.

I use interactive guided imagery, hypnosis, and traditional counseling and coaching techniques to help teens tap into and build upon their inner strengths.

I also teach relaxation techniques that teens will be able to draw upon throughout their lives when under stress or the pressure to perform.

I have worked successfully with teens for more than a decade as a teacher, hypnotherapist, and mindset coach.

I put young people at ease with a warm, nurturing, and nonjudgmental approach, and I provide them with a safe and encouraging environment conducive to relaxing, gaining insights, and tackling barriers to their success.

My more than fifteen years of teaching high school and college English classes has given me a deep understanding of the myriad of challenges that young people face as they strive to excel in their present endeavors and prepare for the future.

I have a master’s degree in Creative Writing, a teaching credential in English, and I received my hypnotherapy certification through the National Guild of Hypnotists. In January 2012, I was invited to be on the Board of Directors for Imagery International, a professional association for guided imagery practitioners.

After we have had a chance to talk, I would invite you and your teen to meet with me for a free 30-minute consultation at my office. This would give me the opportunity to explain to your teen what mindset coaching is and answer any of his or her questions.
